Having any surgical procedure done is a big deal, and cosmetic surgery is no exception. While many surgeons, of multiple specialties, have “exposure” to cosmetic surgery in his/her residency, very few complete post-residency fellowships specializing in cosmetic surgery. Dr. Diepenbrock is one of the few who was selected and successfully completed an accredited fellowship in Facial Cosmetic Surgery. What this means is Dr. Diepenbrock focuses solely on the face. Whether the procedure is surgical such as a face lift or rhinoplasty, or non-surgical such Botox or facial fillers like Juvederm, he has dedicated his professional practice to the aesthetics of beauty. His philosophy is to provide you with natural and long-lasting results.

Dr. Diepenbrock was born and raised in Ohio. After high school, he attended Bowling Green State University and earned a full athletic scholarship for football where he was a four year starter and letter winner. At Bowling Green, he received numerous athletic and academic awards including induction into The Mortar Board and Golden Key National Honor Societies. He was selected as the Who’s Who among Students in American Colleges and Universities, The National Dean’s List, and was awarded The National Football Foundation Post-Graduate Scholarship, among other recognition’s. Following completion of his undergraduate degree in Biology, Dr. Diepenbrock played briefly for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League.
He attended dental school at The Ohio State University. During dental school, Dr. Diepenbrock was awarded a scholarship sponsored by the United States Air Force. He was selected by his peers to represent The Ohio State University as student delegate to the Ohio Dental Association. Additionally, he was recognized for his outstanding patient interaction and management skills.
Dr. Diepenbrock completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at David Grant USAF Medical Center, Travis AFB, CA. During his residency, Dr. Diepenbrock’s passion for facial cosmetic surgery flourished. He gained significant experience in facial cosmetic surgery during his residency, but his drive for additional experience in cosmetic surgery drove him to apply for a fellowship in facial cosmetic surgery. He was selected and completed an American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery accredited fellowship at the Institute of Facial and Cosmetic Surgery in Murray, UT under the tutelage of the renowned Facial Cosmetic Surgeon, Dr. Brent Kennedy.
Dr. Diepenbrock is a Diplomate (Board Certified) of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a member of the Board of Directors of The Cosmetic Surgery Foundation, a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is one of only twenty eight OMS surgeons in the State of California to hold an Elective Facial Cosmetic Surgery permit. Additionally, he holds certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support, and a General Anesthesia Permit in the State of California. He actively lectures to multiple residency programs and local societies; he has multiple published and presented works, and continues to author and research.
In his free time, Ryan is family man. He and his wife Tina have four children. Ryan is active in youth baseball, coaching multiple teams. He and his family love skiing, camping, fishing, golf, and being with their friends and family.
Merging art and science, he is determined to provide his patients with compassionate and meticulous care to obtain ideal results. Dr. Diepenbrock has a vivacious and infectious personality sure to place his patients at ease.
